Inscription Leveling Guide 1-525
Need Glyphs, cards and shoulder enchantments? Then Inscription is the profession you want. Inscription is best paired with Herbalism since you need inks milled from herbs. Five herbs is needed to mill into pigments, which you usually get around 2 to 4 common pigments per milling. You may also receive a rare pigment which can be used for special inscriptions including Darkmoon Cards.
Parchment papers are also needed as reagents for making glyphs and other items. They can be bought from trade goods vendor or inscription supply vendors.
By the time you get to level 75, you can learn the [Minor Inscription Research]. It has a 20-hour cooldown in which you can “research” or create a random Minor Glyph skill. Quite a few Minor Glyphs are needed by other players and could give you additional gold by selling it on AH. Reserve a good stock of Moonglow Ink for this skill.
