Magria is a rare spawn of the exotic pet family, he’s running around the Regrowth in Mount Hyjal.

Magria is fast.. runs very fast and his attacks (like Ankha) scale with the armor you are wearing. First time I tamed him, he claws me twice and I’m dead.

Now, when you see him spawn around the Regrowth in Mount Hyjal, it’s best to be prepared :

  • Dismiss your pet, if you have one active.
  • Be sure to spec for Beast Master
  • Take off all your armor and weapons.
  • You may mount up (flying is best), then look for a good spot where there’s no mobs around that you may aggro (e.g. Brimstone Destroyers, Charred Flamewalkers)
  • If you find a nice spot where Magria may run through, land near him
  • Begin the hunter taming awesomeness. He may smack you about 5 times to half your health but let him be, he’ll love you later.
  • If all goes well, congrats on your new spectral cat
