Midsummer Festival is once again here. Running from June 21 to July 4, 2011. Here are the meta achievements you need to complete for the Flame Keeper title and some interesting things to do for the festival duration.

Slay Ahune in the Slave Pens. Simple… but may not be too easy with the Cataclysm patch. We will see what’s new when Midsummer Fire Festival is back on. We would be expecting a few good drops from him..or it, including Tabards, some Burning Blossoms currency and maybe rare mounts or pets.

So far there are 3 orphans to do some quests with. An orc orphan in Orgrimmar, blood elf in Shattrath City and a Wolvar or Oracle orphan from Dalaran. As a blood elf, I got the pet companions for the Veteran Nanny achievement by doing the chain quests for the blood elf orphan. You can only get one companion per year though, so you need three yearly Children’s Week events to get all three for the achievement.
